when I took this photograph sometime before 6 am in remote Alaska
especially if the horses can kick up snow in their gallop away from the thunderous noise behind them
The solution was for me to positioned just down the track from the start and roped in like a mountaineer so that I didn’t travel down the course on my backside with my cameras
