I think it's because of the gold the gold trim running around the top of the striped platform sole; the gold heel and eyelets; and, of course, the gold embellishments on the side. They come in black milk or white black and are orthotic friendly, too. Heel height is 5cm. SIZING TIP: These are an average to slightly wider width. A 42=AU10, a 43=AU11, a 44=AU12, a 45=AU13 and a 46=AU14. If a half size or in any doubt, please go up a
